Seabrook Kitchen Remodeling

After Kitchen Remodeling

The first change was to reface the cabinets and add new door pulls.
The countertops were replaced with quartz with a waterfall effect.
All walls were painted and new ceiling fans installed.
The tile backsplash was completed in a beautiful leaf tile the client chose.
Custom-built cabinets and the tongue-and-groove floating hardwood flooring maximize the space.
New Neuma windows and doors throughout the house bring in the natural light. For the fireplace, the customer chose a Rave 42" Direct Vent Gas Fireplace.

Client Review of Kitchen remodeling

I hired GCR Builders to do a major renovation on my home in Seabrook, after a neighbor recommended them for post-Harvey related repairs. They were prompt, professional, and kept me in the loop throughout the duration of the job. The crew also cleaned up regularly inside and outside to minimize disruption to the neighborhood. The owner, Scott Barker, prepared a detailed room by room scope of work, which was kept onsite and followed by the crew. I received photos from him each week of the work completed, and progress made. Due to the size of the job, there were a few instances where we had to change the way the work would be done.

At those times, either he or his onsite supervisor were there to show me what was going on, why they had to make the change (issues inside the walls, engineer or city requirements, etc.) and how they planned to best correct things. Both Scott and Eddie went out of their way to ensure even the small things were attended to for me. The quality of work GCR Builders produces is excellent, and I am happy to recommend them.

Before Remodeling

A 32’ ceiling support beam was removed and a new one was installed to stabilize the home structure.
This Seabrook kitchen sustained significant damage from Hurricane Harvey.
Replacing the granite counters with quartz opens the space.
